Organization/Structure
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, and we have exemption status from the State of Wisconsin. We have a state Commander, Executive Officer, State Training Officer and State Chaplain. They form our executive committee to oversee the districts and provide direction and organization.
With EMS services located all over our state, we divided the state into Districts to allow members opportunities to practice and perform closer to home. When a LODD occurs or any time a large state-wide event occurs, we ask for volunteers from all districts to participate. Made easy because all members have the same uniforms, the same policies, the same training. Keeps us looking sharp and professional in order to represent our profession and providers in a LODD situation.
We are looking for members at all levels of interest to participate in the WI EMS Honor Guard. We need EMS personnel to perform as
-
Color Guard/Flags or Rifle barrier
-
Bagpipers or Percussionists
-
District Directors and Training officers
-
Chaplains (no EMS licensure required)
-
Other volunteers
No matter your previous experience via the military, high school/college marching bands, or none at all, we are looking for talented persons of integrity to join.
